Course Content

This course will give you an understanding of the impact the environment has on children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in your childcare setting, and how to utilise your space to support their learning.

  • Gaining an understanding of the sensory system and how it can affect children with ASD or symptomatic ASD.
  • What is regulation and what impact being unregulated has on learning and behaviours
  • How to support regulation
  • Observing your children to understand their needs, what to look out for
  • Looking at your environment and what to take into consideration to best support your children.

On successful completion of the course assessment, you will be emailed a link to download your course certificate of attendance.
