This online interactive Disability Equality Training seeks to increase awareness for employers and employees and enable you to recognise barriers faced by customers and colleagues with disabilities. It’s crucial for businesses to understand their legal responsibilities related to equality and disabilities, not only to meet Irish disability laws but also to enhance their customer focus and provide accessible services.
Disability Federation of Ireland will deliver clear and accurate information about disability and address questions or concerns that you may have in relation to, meeting a person for the first time with a disability, equality and human rights, practical ways to remove barriers, myths and misconceptions, explore attitudes to disability and the role businesses have in creating an inclusive society.
We will have a short presentation from Department of Social Protection Employers Relation team on the supports and grants available to employers.
