ACCREDITATION: QQI Level 5
This course is aimed at people who are seeking work and would like to qualify and start working in a childcare setting. There will be a course information session on the 3rd of June 2026 at 7pm at James O’Keeffe Institute, Newmarket, Co. Cork.

-Introduction to ELC and Child safeguarding
-Holistic Care of Children in ELC
-Professional Practice
-Inclusive Education and Care of Children with Additional Needs in ELC
-Early Learning and Play
-Child Development
Individuals in receipt of a Job-seekers payment or other eligible payments must receive prior approval from INTREO Offices/DSP Scheme Areas to participate on programmes which exceeds 20 days in duration
