This one day programme is designed for those who want to become baristas and food handlers for public consumption (i.e. Café, creches, childcare, shops, hotels, healthcare). This course will:

Hands-on Barista workshop training. Learn about the machine, knowing the different type of beans, making different types of coffees, cleaning and maintaining the coffee machine and more.

Provide learners with adequate training in the basic principles of Food Hygiene, HACCP Allergen Awareness and Food Safety.

On completion of the programme, successful learners are awarded a certificate from the Environmental Health Association of Ireland (EHAI). This certificate is valid for 5 years.
Tea and Scones will be provided in the morning. Please also bring a lunch as there will be a break from 1 – 2 pm.
