Four consecutive Wednesdays—21st and 28th October, and 4th and 11th November—at 7pm in our demonstration kitchen at DCFS. Each session will be led by an experienced chef from Duhallow Community Food Services, who will demonstrate delicious, healthy recipes on a budget. All participants will receive an ingredients pack after each session so they can recreate the same recipe at home.
Over the four weeks, participants will learn how to prepare the following dishes:
- Week 1: Cream of Vegetable Soup & Pitta Quesadilla
- Week 2: Pumpkin Soup & Brussels Sprouts with Garlic and Ham
- Week 3: Pea Soup with Bacon & Mushroom Bake
- Week 4: Christmas Broth & Turkey and Ham Baked Potato
