be able to access it on the laptop/PC browser for the day.

Course Content:

Introduction to AI for Small Business

 AI for Productivity & Business Efficiency

  • What is AI? Demystifying AI in plain language
  • Everyday AI applications for small businesses.
  • The potential benefits: saving time, boosting creativity, and improving efficiency.
  • Risks and limitations of AI – what to be aware of and how to mitigate against bias and misinformation.
  • Introduction to the EU AI Act and Government’s Seven Principles for Responsible AI.

AI for Productivity & Business Efficiency

  • Using ChatGPT, Gemini and/or CoPilot for everyday tasks: emails, reports
  • AI for idea generation: brainstorming new products, services, and campaigns.
  • Tools for managing schedules, documents, and business planning.
  • Hands-on demos of accessible platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Google AI tools).
  • Embedding responsible and sustainable approaches when applying AI in day-to-day business.

AI for Marketing & Content Creation

  •  Creating marketing copy with AI: social posts, blogs, newsletters.
    • Image and video AI tools: easy ways to create visuals and ads.
    • Customising AI outputs for your business voice.
    • Tips for integrating AI into digital marketing strategies.

Practical Exercises

  • Hands-on using AI – prompt templates will be provided
