This event is organised by Cork Sports Partnership with the aim of involving older people in a Come & Try event that introduces a number of activities in a fun, supportive and social environment. An older adult Sportsfest is an event that gives older people an opportunity to partake in physical activities such as; Go For Life Games, Scooch, Activator Poles, Staying Fit For the Future with “Better Bone Better Balance”, Score Bowls and many more activities in a fun, supportive and social environment.
Free event to promote sport and physical activity among older adults. Come along and try out a new sport or activity in a fun and enjoyable setting.
The older adult Sportsfest is organised by Cork Sports Partnership in partnership with the HSE Health promotion department and IRD Duhallow CLG. Why not come out to this FREE event to meet new people and try something new in a fun, supportive and social environment. Light refreshments will be served on the day.
